Shiv Metal & Alloys

Shiv Metal & Alloys is located at 214/13 in Subhash Nagar. We are right on the Old Railway Road, and the Dhobi Ghat is just a short walk away. You can often hear the sound of the laundry being washed while we are moving metal around. Our yard is full of different types of alloys and scrap that we sort through every day. It is heavy work, and we use old scales to weigh everything that comes in. The Old Railway Road is always congested with rickshaws and carts, so it can be a bit of a struggle to get deliveries in and out. We have a small office room that is mostly just for keeping the receipts and having a quick cup of tea. The walls have some old calendars on them, and the furniture is pretty basic. We don't really care about how the place looks as long as we can find what we need in the stacks of metal. Sometimes the dust from the road and the nearby ghat makes everything a bit grimy, but we are used to it by now. We have been in Subhash Nagar for quite a while, so we are a familiar face to the local people and the other traders. It is just a place where we deal with metal and try to keep things moving along without any unnecessary drama or complications.
