Our place, K M U Alloys Pvt Ltd, is located at Plot No- 95 in Sector-3 of Dlf City. It is an industrial spot, so do not expect anything pretty when you come by. We work with different kinds of alloys and metal pieces all day long. The air inside the unit is always a bit heavy with the smell of hot metal and grease. We have been here for a while now, and the routine is pretty much the same every morning. We get the machines warmed up and start processing whatever orders came in the day before. It is loud work, and we all wear earplugs most of the time, so we end up shouting at each other just to be heard over the grinders. Being in Sector-3 means we have a lot of neighbors doing similar heavy work, so there is always a lot of movement with forklifts and delivery vans in the lane. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. Most of our days are spent on the shop floor making sure the quality of the alloy is what it should be. Sometimes the raw material shipments get delayed, and we have to sit around drinking tea until the truck shows up. It is just the way things go in this business. We are just a group of people who know metal and try to do a decent job without making a big fuss about it.
