Shakti Aluminium & Glass Co.

We've been around Sohna Road for a while now, right near Subhash Chowk in Islampur village. Mostly we handle glass cutting and fitting aluminium frames for windows and doors. It gets busy here especially during the day with people coming in from the nearby areas looking to fix up their shops or homes. We started Shakti Aluminium & Glass Co. because there was a need for a spot for these materials. Our workshop is simple, nothing fancy. You’ll see stacks of glass panes and metal sections leaned against the walls. We do the measuring and cutting right here on the table. Sometimes things take a bit longer if it's a complicated job, but we try to get it right. Usually, it's just a few of us working on several projects at once. We know most of the regulars around Islampur by name. If you pass by Subhash Chowk, you can't really miss us. We don't spend much time on fancy offices or websites, we just focus on the work at hand. The dust from the cutting is part of the daily routine. We've seen the road change quite a bit over the years, more traffic and more buildings going up. It's a loud area but we like being in the middle of it all. People just drop by to ask for prices or to see if we can fix a broken window pane. We just tell them what can be done and how much it will cost. It's not a glamorous job, but it's what we know how to do. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs finishing, and the tea from the stall nearby keeps us going. We just lock up when we're finished.
