Our office is situated in DLF Phase 1, right near where the SBI Bank is located. It is a busy part of the neighborhood, so there are always cars and people moving around outside. We focus on organic products, mostly things that people want for their daily lives at home. It is not a massive supermarket or a flashy showroom. We have a modest space where we keep our records and some samples of the stuff we distribute. A lot of our time is taken up by phone calls to suppliers and checking on the boxes that come in from the farms. The room is often cluttered with stacks of paperwork because being a private limited company involves a lot of filing. We have a couple of desks and some chairs that have seen better days. When someone walks in, they are usually looking for something specific they couldn't find in the regular shops. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the grains and other items we handle. It is just a small group of us here, and we do everything from answering the door to moving the heavy crates. The area around the bank is convenient, but parking is always a headache for us and the visitors. We don't do any big promotions or have a fancy sign. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and get to work on the orders we have for the day. It is a simple, practical way to run a business.
