Rdm School is out in Mirchpur, right in the village area. We are located near the local police station and the village post office, so everyone in the area knows exactly where we are. This part of Tehsil-Narnauld is mostly farmland, and you can see the fields stretching out behind the school grounds. The building itself is quite plain, built with local materials and painted in simple colors. We have a large open area where the kids play, which is mostly just dirt and some patchy grass. Since we are in a village, the pace of life is a bit slower here. Teachers often arrive on bicycles or walk from their homes nearby. The classrooms are basic with fans that hum loudly during the summer months. We do not have a lot of fancy technology or computers; we mostly rely on books and the teachers' voices. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just open the windows wider to let the light in. The parents are mostly farmers or local shopkeepers who come by to talk about their children’s progress after they finish their work in the fields. It is a very humble setup where we just try to keep things running smoothly. The school bell is an old piece of metal that someone hits with a hammer to mark the end of each period, and that sound carries across the quiet village streets.
