Pathways World School

Pathways World School is situated at the Aravali Retreat, just off the Gurgaon Sohna Road. It is a bit of a journey to get out here from the main city, but the drive is actually quite nice once you get away from the Gurgaon traffic. The school is surrounded by the hills of the Aravali range, so the air feels a bit different than it does in the middle of town. There is a lot of open space and greenery, which is a big change from the concrete of the city. The buildings are spread out and have a very natural look to them, blending in with the rocks and trees. We spend a lot of time walking between different sections of the school because everything is so spaced out. The office is located in one of the main blocks, and it’s usually a bit cooler there than outside. We deal with a lot of international students and families, so the atmosphere is quite mixed. Even with the nice scenery, it’s still a workplace, so we are usually busy with computers and meetings. Sometimes we see local wildlife or just a lot of birds because of the retreat setting. It’s a quiet place for the most part, especially in the evenings after the buses have left. We don’t have the noise of the city markets or the constant traffic here. It feels more like a small village where everyone is focused on their own work and classes.
