Painter Uday

I’m based over in Sector 55, right near Ghata More in Wazirabad. If you look around that area, you’ll probably see me or my guys moving around with our gear. Painter Uday is what I go by, and it’s a pretty simple operation. I don’t have a big office or a receptionist. Usually, I’m just out on a site somewhere in Wazirabad or the nearby sectors. My phone is always in my pocket, ringing with people asking about their walls or ceilings. I’ve spent a lot of my life climbing up and down ladders and making sure the edges are straight. It’s physical work and by the end of the day, my back usually hurts a bit, but that’s part of the trade. I’ve lived around here for a long time, so I know the layout of these buildings pretty well. I don’t use any big words to describe what I do. I just take a look at the job, tell people what it will take, and then I start painting. Sometimes the weather is too hot and the paint dries too fast, or it’s raining and we have to wait, but we always finish what we started. It’s just me and a couple of helpers, trying to do a decent job for the folks in the neighborhood. We aren't fancy, just hard-working people who know their way around a brush and aren't afraid of a long day's work.
