Paint India

You can find us at Paint India over in Dlf Phase Iv, Near Ascent Public School,. We are pretty close to the school, so we hear the bells and the kids playing quite often during the day. The shop is usually full of paint cans stacked up high. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough room to walk between the rows. We have those machines that mix the colors, and they make a lot of noise when they are shaking the tins. It’s a messy business, honestly. My clothes usually have a few spots of white or yellow on them by the end of the week. People come in with small scraps of fabric or old photos trying to match a color for their living room walls. We do our best to find something close. The light in the shop isn't always the best for seeing the true shade, so we often tell people to take the cards outside into the sunlight. It gets busy on weekends when everyone suddenly decides they want to repaint their kitchen. We sell brushes, rollers, and those big plastic sheets to cover furniture. It isn't a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a place where you can get the supplies you need for a paint job. We spend a lot of time cleaning up spills and moving heavy buckets around from the back storage area to the front counter throughout the day.
