Om Sai Dental Clinic

We’ve been here on New Railway Road for a while now at Om Sai Dental Clinic. It’s a busy spot with all the traffic going towards the station, but inside it’s usually calm enough. I spend most of my mornings getting the instruments ready and checking the schedule. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but the patients are mostly local people so they understand how it is. We have a small waiting area that gets a bit crowded on Saturday afternoons. My desk is right near the window where I can see the rickshaws passing by. Most of the folks coming in just need a cleaning or have a tooth that’s been bothering them for a few days. We try to keep things simple here without any fancy decorations. It’s just a dental office where we do the work and then go home. I usually bring my lunch from home and eat it in the back room when there’s a gap between appointments. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun, but people know where we are. It’s not a big fancy place, just a regular clinic where we know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. Sometimes the children are scared of the chair, so we have to talk to them for a bit before starting. It’s a decent life here on Railway Road.
