Briz Dental Clinic

Basai Road is a busy spot and Briz Dental Clinic is right there near Pasricha Nursing Home. Being near a nursing home means there are always people around. We started this place because we wanted to work in this neighborhood. The clinic is simple. We have the usual tools, the drills, and the lights. Sometimes the power goes out for a minute and we have to wait for the backup to kick in. It’s just part of living here. We talk to the neighbors a lot. People stop by to ask questions about their gums or a tooth that’s been bothering them for a week. We don’t do anything too fancy, just honest dental work. The flooring is a bit older but we keep it scrubbed. We have a small sink in the corner. My assistant helps with the files and keeping the instruments in the sterilizer. It’s a small team, just a couple of us. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. It’s a good feeling when someone leaves feeling better than when they came in. The street outside gets dusty in the summer, so we have to wipe the front windows pretty often. We are usually here six days a week. It’s a steady life. We don’t have a big fancy lobby, just a few plastic chairs for waiting.
