Nishthapuri

Gurgaon is a very fast place now. I remember when MG Road was much quieter. I am Nishthapuri and I am located at 850 Saraswati Vihar. It is right near the main road but inside the residential part. You can see the big malls from here, but my place is just a regular house. I use part of it for my work. It’s not like those glass buildings you see everywhere in Gurgaon. I prefer it this way. It feels more real and I don't have to deal with the fancy receptionists and all that. I handle everything myself, from the paperwork to the cleaning. Sometimes my family helps out when I have too much on my plate. We have lived in Saraswati Vihar for a long time. The neighbors are good people and we all look out for each other. I don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. People mostly find me through word of mouth. If I do a good job for one person, they tell their cousin or friend. That’s how it has always been for me. I keep my hours flexible because life happens. Some days I start early, other days I take it easy. It’s a comfortable way to live and work without too much stress. I’ve been here for a long time and I plan to stay for many more years because this is where my community is.
