Masala Bay Private Limited

Our business is over in Badshahpur, on the property that belongs to Lal Chand, who is Inder Singh’s son. It’s a bit out of the way compared to the big city center of Gurugram, which we actually like. We spend our time working with different kinds of spices. When you walk into our area, the smell of masala is very strong. It gets into your clothes and follows you home. We don't have any high-tech machinery; it’s mostly just basic equipment for grinding and mixing the spices. It’s a bit of a dusty job, and we all end up sneezing at some point during the day. We are a small crew here. We know each other well and just get on with the tasks. Some days we are busy packing bags for local shops, and other days we are just sorting through new supplies of raw spices. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet people. If you show up, you’ll probably have to find someone in the back room. The 122101 area is our home base. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation. We just want to make sure the masala we pack is what it’s supposed to be. It’s a straightforward, honest way to make a living. We just take things as they come and try to stay organized in our own way. There isn't much more to tell about us than that.
