Laurel School International

Laurel School International is out at Talab Wali Chanda, not far from the Ansal Township. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but that makes it a lot quieter for the students. The area around here is still developing, so there’s a lot of open land and a few new buildings going up. You can see the houses of Ansal Township from our upper windows. Our school has a fair amount of space, which is nice because the kids aren't cramped up. We have a gravel path leading to the entrance and a small garden that we try to maintain, though the weeds grow fast. The building itself is sturdy and tall. We have a couple of staff members who live nearby and they usually open the gates before anyone else arrives. In the winter mornings, it gets quite misty out here near the talab. We have regular classrooms with blue and white walls. The paint is peeling in a few spots, but it doesn't bother anyone much. We have a small library room with a few shelves of books that the kids can look at. It’s a quiet life out here away from the city center. We just focus on the daily schedule and making sure the work gets done. It’s not a fancy setup, just a place for learning.
