We are located at Plot No. 33B in Sector-32, which is quite close to Jharsa Chowk. This part of the city is mostly industrial and business units, so there is always a lot of heavy movement. Lafarge Aggregates & Concretes India Pvt. Ltd. operates from this site. It is a large plot of land and we spend most of our time outdoors or in the small office building near the front gate. The area around Jharsa Chowk is often congested, so we have to plan our day around the traffic patterns or we get stuck. It is not the most glamorous place to work, honestly. There is a lot of dust and the sound of machinery is pretty constant throughout the day. We have a small crew here. Everyone knows their job and we just get on with it without a lot of talk. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up when we are busy with several deliveries at once. The office has old metal desks and a coffee machine that works when it feels like it. We don't have any flashy signs or anything. People usually find us because they have business in Sector-32 or they saw our trucks out on the road. It’s a busy environment where things are always moving from one side to the other. We try to keep the site organized, but with concrete and aggregates, it’s a constant battle. It is just a regular workplace for us. We keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every single day.
