Our site is right off Sohna Road, not too far from Subhash Chowk. It’s a noisy place because of the crushers running. We spend our days turning big rocks into smaller ones. It’s dusty work and you definitely need to wear your gear. We’ve been at this spot for years now. You can see the piles of gravel and grit from the road. We aren't trying to be anything other than a stone crushing yard. Contractors come by with their trucks to get loads for their construction sites. We also deal with smaller orders if someone needs stuff for a driveway. It’s a lot of machinery maintenance. If a belt breaks, everything stops until we fix it. We don't have a fancy lobby. Usually, you’ll find us near the machines or in the small shed we use for paperwork. The traffic near Subhash Chowk can be a headache, especially in the afternoons. We just keep the machines going as long as we have orders to fill. It’s hard on the hands and the back, but it’s what we know. We don't do much talking, mostly just working. People know us for being reliable and having the material ready when we say it will be. It’s a straightforward business with no frills. We have some dogs that hang around the yard and keep us company. The dust gets into everything, even the lunch boxes if we aren't careful. It’s a tough environment but it suits us well.
