Down on the ground floor of House Number 562 in Sector 23, that’s where you’ll find the Kirat Consulting team. It’s a pretty standard Gurugram house, and we’ve converted the front part into our workspace. It’s nothing fancy, just some desks we bought second-hand and a few shelves full of files. Living and working in Sector 23 has its own rhythm. The vegetable vendors go by in the morning, and the streets are fairly quiet compared to the main roads. We like it that way. It lets us focus on the consulting work without too much noise. We’re just a small group of people who decided to work for ourselves instead of for a big firm. Sometimes it’s stressful when deadlines loom, and the printer decides to jam right when we need it most. We don't have a HR department or a fancy canteen; we just order from the local dhaba when we’re hungry. The work is steady, and we’ve built up a decent reputation just by being consistent. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide a solid service to the people who come through our door. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy. Most of our clients are locals who know us by name, which is exactly how we like it. We don't see any reason to change how we do things as long as the work gets done.
