We are based over in U-Block of DLF Phase 3 in Gurgaon, which is a place that never really seems to sleep. If you know this area, you know how packed the lanes get with people living in the PGs and all the office workers looking for a quick bite at the stalls. Our building at 4/3 is right in the middle of all that energy. It is a bit different from the huge glass corporate offices you see in Cyber City, as it feels a lot more lived-in and real. We have a modest setup here. There is a lot of coming and going throughout the day, and the phone seems to ring at odd hours. The Haryana heat can be brutal in June, so we spend a lot of time making sure the AC units don't give up on us. We don't have a big reception desk with someone waiting to greet you; usually, you just walk in and find whoever is available at their desk. It is a practical space where we focus on the tasks at hand. Sometimes the water cooler runs dry or the lift acts up, but we just deal with it and keep moving. The view from the window is mostly other buildings and the busy street below, but it keeps us connected to the hustle of the city. We aren’t about flashy signs or expensive furniture. We just need a place to sit and enough tea to get through the afternoon.
