Jai Ambey Paints & Hardware

The shop is located over in Sohna Islampur, right in Sector 38. We are pretty close to the Bankj Of India branch, so a lot of people stop in after they finish their banking. It’s a small hardware store, mostly filled with tins of paint, brushes, and the usual tools people need for quick fixes around their houses. It gets a bit crowded inside because we try to keep a lot of stock on the shelves. Sometimes things aren't perfectly organized, but we know where everything is. We started this place because there wasn't much else around here at the time. My brother and I usually handle the counter ourselves. We spend most of our mornings unloading deliveries and chatting with the regulars who live nearby. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time, though the mornings can be a bit more active. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the physical store where you can see what you’re buying. If someone needs a specific color of paint, we do our best to find it in the back. Sometimes the dust from the street gets in when the wind picks up, but that's life in a hardware shop. We just keep going day by day. It’s a simple living. If you’re near the bank, you’ll probably see our sign hanging out front. We’ve been here for a good few years now and don't plan on moving.
