Igus India Pvt Ltd is located in Ews-110, Silver Oaks Apartment, over in DLF Phase-1. It’s a bit unusual having an office in an apartment complex, but it works for what we do here. The neighborhood is quiet compared to the rest of the city. We have our desks set up in the rooms, and the living area is where we keep some of our inventory and samples. It feels more like a home than a corporate building, which we actually like. We spend a lot of time coordinating with our main branches and making sure the parts get to the customers on time. Sometimes the courier guys get confused trying to find the right apartment number. We don’t have a big glass front or a fancy lobby. If you walk in, you’ll just see us working on laptops or packing up small components. DLF Phase-1 is a nice area to walk around during lunch, which is a plus. We deal with various industrial parts, mostly plastic bearings and cables. It’s technical work, but we try to keep the atmosphere here pretty relaxed. We aren't wearing suits or anything. It’s mostly just jeans and t-shirts while we handle the logistics. It’s a small team, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering emails to moving boxes. We’ve been here for a while and the neighbors don't seem to mind us.
