Hari Ram General Store

Hari Ram General Store is sitting right on the Main Road in Tikri Village, over in Sector 49. It is a busy spot because of all the people and traffic moving through the area every day. We have been serving the local village and the newer parts of the sector for several years. I usually keep a few bags of rice and stacks of lentils near the entrance so people can see them. The shop is small, so we have to use the walls all the way to the top for shelving to fit everything in. It can be a bit tight when three or four people are inside at the same time. I live nearby, so it is easy for me to open up first thing in the morning. People stop by on their way to work to get small things like tobacco or pens or snacks for their lunch. We keep a diary for some of the regulars who pay at the end of the month when they get their salary. It is a very traditional way of doing things, but it works for us and our customers. The main road is always noisy with cars and bikes, but inside the shop, it is mostly quiet until someone comes in to chat for a bit. We do not have a big team, just me and occasionally my cousin when he is not busy. We do not do anything special, just keep the items people use every day in stock and ready.
