Gautam Paints & Hardware

Our shop is at 54 Feroz Gandhi, right opposite the divider for Sector 4 and 7. It’s actually two units, No. 1 and 2, which gives us a bit more room for the heavy stuff. We carry a lot of hardware and different types of paints. The location is pretty good because people from both sectors can get to us without much trouble. It gets a bit chaotic during the morning rush when everyone is trying to pick up supplies for their projects. We have shelves filled with everything from nails to big drums of primer. Sometimes the floor is a bit crowded with boxes that just arrived, and you have to watch your step. I’ve been running this place with my brother for a while now. We know most of the contractors who work in this part of town. They come in for their regular supplies and we have a chat. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are. The shop gets quite hot in the afternoons because of how the sun hits the front. We just keep the fan going and stay busy. It’s a straightforward business. We buy things, we sell things, and we help people find what they need for their repairs. It isn't always organized perfectly, but we know where everything is. That’s just the way we like to run things here.
