Working out of DLF City Phase II in Gurgaon is a different experience than being in the middle of Delhi. Our address is P 2 56, and it is right in the middle of a lot of residential houses and other small offices. Even though we are Fluor Daniel India Pvt Ltd New Delhi according to the registration, we have been based here in Haryana for quite some time now. The 122002 area is always changing, with new buildings going up and old ones being renovated. You can hear the metro train passing by in the distance if it is a quiet day, which isn't very often. The traffic on the main roads in Gurgaon is always a bit of a mess, so getting into work can take longer than you would think. Once we are inside the office, things are pretty straightforward. We have our routine of checking files and making phone calls. There is a small kitchen area where we eat our lunch, usually whatever we brought from home. We don't really do the big corporate lunch outings. The space is a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. Most of the people around here are just trying to get their work done and avoid the heat. It is a busy environment but we keep to ourselves mostly.
