Our office is actually Flat No. A4-602 in the Ireo Skyon building over in Sector 60. It’s a residential complex, so it doesn't feel like a typical workplace at all. You have to go through the main security gate and take the elevator up to the sixth floor. Working out of a flat gives the whole thing a very different vibe. Eon Consultancy is run from what used to be a living room and one of the bedrooms. We have set up the desks near the windows so we can see the greenery outside. It’s a lot quieter here than being in the middle of a commercial hub. Sometimes you can hear the neighbors or the sound of the wind coming off the balcony. We keep the atmosphere pretty low-key. There are no suits or ties here unless someone is going out for a big meeting. Usually, it's just us in our comfortable clothes, sitting around with our laptops and a lot of notebooks. We do a lot of our consulting work over the phone or via email, so the quiet setting really helps us concentrate. The kitchen is right there, so someone is always brewing tea or grabbing a snack. It feels more like a home than a business, which I think makes the work feel less like a chore. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and it suits us just fine. We don't need a big signboard or a glass front to get the job done correctly and stay on top of our daily tasks.
