We’ve been set up at 307 Naharpur Chowk in Vatika City Centre for a good bit now. Drake & Scull India Pvt Ltd is the name on the door, but most of us just think of it as the office near N G Road. It’s a busy spot, especially with all the traffic coming through the chowk every morning. You can hear the horns honking from the third floor sometimes. The office isn't anything special to look at, just desks, some filing cabinets, and a few printers that jam more than they should. We spend most of our time dealing with project details and making sure the numbers add up. It’s steady work. Usually, the tea guy comes around twice a day, which is the highlight for some of the guys here. We aren't big on meetings that go nowhere, we just like to get the job done and head home. The light in the hallway flickers a bit, but we’ve gotten used to it. Getting to the office can be a pain if you don't leave early enough. We mostly keep to ourselves and stay busy with whatever comes across the desk. It’s just a group of people trying to keep things organized and running. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a regular workplace where we spend our eight or nine hours a day. It’s honest work and it keeps us occupied. Most of us take the metro or a bus and then walk the rest of the way from the stop.
