We are based at House Number 8 in Block Number 2, which is situated quite close to Sector 12A in Gurgaon. It’s a bit different from our other location, with a slightly more local neighborhood feel. The block is mostly residential, so you get that sense of a lived-in community rather than a cold business park. Our office is basically a house that we’ve adapted for our needs over the years. It’s not perfect; the plumbing can be temperamental and we sometimes have to shuffle cars around in the driveway when someone needs to leave early. But it’s where we spend most of our waking hours, and we’ve made it our own. The area around Sector 12A is busy, with plenty of small shops and people going about their business. We’ve grown accustomed to the sounds of the neighborhood, from the vegetable sellers on the street to the kids playing nearby after school. It’s an honest place to work. We don’t put on any airs about being a massive corporation; we’re just a small team in a brick-and-mortar building trying to provide decent consulting services. There’s always a pot of tea going, and the atmosphere is pretty casual. We think that being in a house makes it easier for people to just talk to us like human beings rather than following some rigid corporate script. It’s just how we prefer to run things here in Gurgaon.
