Our place is located at 18/1, Milestone, right on Mathura Road. If you know that stretch of road, you know it is always loud with trucks and buses passing by at all hours. We are a bit tucked away from the main city chaos of Gurgaon, which is actually nice sometimes. The building is older, and you can tell it’s been through a few seasons. Inside, Dompros Consultants is just a few rooms with sturdy desks and some chairs that might need replacing soon. We aren't big on decorations here. There’s a calendar on the wall and a clock that’s five minutes fast, but we never bothered to fix it. Every morning starts with opening up the shutters and letting some air in before the dust from the road starts kicking up. We mostly deal with people who are looking for advice on their projects. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls throughout the day. We have a small kettle in the corner for making coffee when the afternoon slump hits. The team is small, just a handful of us who have worked together for years. We know each other's habits and how everyone likes their work done. It isn’t a high-pressure corporate environment, just a steady place where we show up and do what needs doing. Mathura Road has its own rhythm, and we’ve just become part of the background over time. We like it that way, just keeping things simple and practical every day without too much fuss.
