Getting to the 5th floor every morning at DLF Phase-5 usually involves a bit of a wait for the lift. We are right on Golf Course Road in Sector 43, so the area is always busy. From the windows, you can see the cars zooming by all day. Our office is just a plain room filled with computers and a couple of filing cabinets that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time on calls or just typing away at our desks. It gets pretty bright in here during the afternoon when the sun hits the glass. DNAAXS is basically just a group of us who know the consulting business inside and out. We don’t have a big reception desk or a fancy lobby. You just walk in and see everyone working. Sometimes we order food from the places downstairs because nobody felt like packing a lunch. The air conditioning hums in the background, which is lucky because Gurugram gets incredibly hot in the summer. People think being on Golf Course Road means everything is very shiny, but inside our four walls, it is just a normal workspace where we try to stay organized. We handle a lot of different things, mostly advising people who come through the door or call us up. It's a lot of talking and a lot of looking at spreadsheets. We’ve been at this for some time now and the routine doesn't change much. It is honest work and we just try to get it right for everyone involved.
