Our office is up on the 15th floor of Tower A, which is part of that big DLF Building No. 5 in Gurugram. It’s a busy place, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get through the security gates at the same time. The address is quite long to write out, but once you’re here, it’s just a regular workplace with a lot of desks and people on phones. We are right in the middle of Cyber City, so there is always a lot of energy around, even if we are just sitting at our computers most of the time. The sun hits the glass on these buildings and makes everything very bright in the afternoon. We have a lot of folders and papers that tend to pile up if we don't stay on top of them. It’s not the kind of place where you see a lot of nature, but you can see the metro line from some of the windows. At Protiviti India Member Pvt. Ltd., we mostly just focus on the tasks we have for the day. Someone usually brings in snacks to share, which helps when the afternoon drag hits. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not; it’s just a group of us working through our lists. When the day ends, we join the crowd heading back to the parking lots or the metro station. It’s a lot of work, but we just take it one day at a time without much fuss.
