Our office, Dewan P N Chopra & Co, Chartered Accountants, is located at B-1/803 in the Power Grid Complex. This is in Sector-46 of Gurgaon, Haryana 122001. It is a quiet enough spot to get work done. We spend most of our time dealing with tax filings and audits. The complex is well known in this part of town. We have a few rooms where we keep all the ledgers and documents. It’s not a very big team, but we stay busy throughout the year. The commute into Sector-46 is alright for us. We started this place because we wanted to handle accounting for people nearby. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, so we wait or take the stairs. Our desks are usually covered in papers. We don't use much fancy software if a simple spreadsheet does the trick. It is a straightforward kind of life here. We see the same faces most weeks. Most of the people who come to see us are just looking to get their books in order. We don't do anything flashy. It's just work with numbers and laws. We make sure to keep track of the deadlines so nobody gets in trouble with their filings. That is pretty much the daily routine at our office in the Power Grid Complex. We just keep plugging away at the spreadsheets and making sure the calculations are right before we finish for the day. It’s a lot of work but it’s what we do.
