Mahesh Jain & Co is located on the ground floor of 929 Dlf City Phase Ii, over in Saraswati Vihar Chakkarpur. Having the office on the ground floor is a huge plus because it means we don't have to wait for the lift or climb stairs when we’re carrying heavy boxes of files. The space is fairly large, but it’s mostly filled with desks and storage cabinets. We’ve been in this spot for years, and the walls are decorated with a few old calendars and some maps of the area. It feels very much like a lived-in office rather than a showroom. We get a lot of natural light through the front windows in the morning, which is nice. Chakkarpur is a busy area, but our little corner of Saraswati Vihar stays relatively calm. We have a routine where we start with emails and then move on to the heavy paperwork by mid-morning. It’s not a high-pressure environment, but we do keep ourselves busy. Sometimes the internet acts up, or the power goes out, and we just have to sit and wait or do things by hand for a while. That’s just part of life here. We aren't into fancy presentations or marketing; we just do the work that people hire us for. It’s a straightforward business, and we like the people we work with. Most of our clients are just regular folks from around the neighborhood.
