Sri Triveni Crafts

Our workshop, Sri Triveni Crafts, is situated at 4652/279 in the Surat Nagar Industrial Area, just off Daultabad Road. It’s an industrial spot, so the surroundings are mostly other factories and warehouses. Inside our space, things are a lot more creative, though it still feels like a working shop. We have stacks of raw materials like wood or metal, depending on what we are making at the time. There is always a layer of dust from sanding or cutting, and the smell of glue or polish is quite common. We don't have a fancy showroom for people to walk through. Instead, you'll see workbenches covered in tools and half-finished pieces. It takes a lot of time to get the details right on the crafts we produce. Sometimes a piece doesn't turn out how we wanted, so we have to start over or make adjustments. We work with our hands mostly, using machines only when we absolutely have to. The area can get pretty loud with all the industrial activity nearby, but we just stay focused on our benches. It’s hard work and your back usually aches by the end of the shift. We aren't trying to be a big factory; we just like making things that look decent and serve a purpose. People come all the way to Daultabad Road when they want something specific that isn't mass-produced in a big plant. It’s just honest craft work done in a dusty corner of the city.
