Copal Partners

Copal Partners is based in T 2 804 at Valley View Estate in Gurgaon. Being in a residential estate like this is a bit different from a standard commercial building. It’s much quieter here, and we don't have to deal with the direct noise of the main road. The office is basically a converted apartment on the eighth floor. We have a pretty good view of the surrounding buildings and some trees from the main window. It feels a bit more relaxed than being in a high-rise office block. We have a small table for our breaks and a kitchen where we make our own tea. There are always boxes of stationery sitting in the hallway because we don't have a proper storage room. Most of the time, the only sounds are the fans and the tapping of keys. We don’t have a fancy reception desk; usually, whoever is closest to the door just opens it. It’s a very practical way to work. We like the security of the estate, and it makes coming to work feel a bit less stressful. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a sleek office design. We just have our workstations set up and we focus on what needs to be done each day. It’s a comfortable enough place to spend eight or nine hours a day without feeling too cramped.
