Palam Vihar is always buzzing with people and cars, and our spot is right there on the Main Palam Vihar Road. If you look across from the C 1 Block, you can see the Cosmos Flat building, and we are just right there on the other side. It’s a busy corner of the world and we deal with the traffic every single day. People are always coming and going, so the air is thick with the sound of the city and the dust from the road. We have our bricks stacked up where people can see them as they drive by. It gets pretty messy out here, especially when the wind picks up. We spend a lot of our time just moving things around to make enough space for the next truck to get in. It’s not like those quiet places out in the country. We are right in the middle of everything. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough room to breathe, but we make it work. The guys stay busy loading up the orders whenever a driver can pull in safely. It’s a bit of a squeeze with the cars parked everywhere. We don't really have a lot of time for sitting around and chatting. When it’s hot, the pavement really holds onto the heat. You can feel it through your boots by lunchtime. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot, but we just keep doing our simple work.
