We've been at Plot No. 105 and 106 for a while now. Mehrauli Road is usually busy, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading to the IDC. It’s a loud area, but we like being here. My desk faces the front gate. Chemi Synth isn't a fancy place. We have our routine. The floors get dusty because of all the trucks passing by outside. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit around and talk until it comes back. It's just a normal workplace. Most of us have been here for years. We know the tea stall guy down the road pretty well. He makes a good cup of chai. Working in chemicals means we have to be careful, so we spend a lot of time checking things over. It's not exciting work most days, but it's what we do. The office is a bit old, and the fans squeak when they're on high. We keep a lot of files in the back room that probably haven't been touched in a decade. It’s part of the charm, I guess. We aren't trying to change the world, just doing our jobs and getting home to our families. Some days are long, especially when a big shipment comes in at Plot 106. We all pitch in then. It’s just us here, doing the work day in and day out. We don’t have fancy brochures or anything, just this old building on a busy road.
