Down in Gurgaon, specifically in Sector 34, you will find our college. It’s a place where we focus on training people who want to become teachers. The building is straightforward and sits in an area that has changed a lot over the last few years as Gurgaon grew. We spend our days going over teaching methods and how to manage a classroom. The students come in from all over the area, some taking the bus and some driving. Inside, the rooms are pretty standard with whiteboards and rows of seats. It’s a serious place because education is a lot of work, but we try to keep a friendly atmosphere. We don’t have those big shiny brochures; we just show people where their classes are and get to work. During the lunch break, you can see everyone standing around talking or going over their notes for the next session. The administrative office is usually busy with paperwork and registrations. It’s a lot of logistics to keep everything running smoothly throughout the semester. We have to deal with the usual stuff like power cuts or scheduling conflicts, but we just find a way through it. It feels like a small community once you’ve been here for a few weeks. We are just a group of people in Sector 34 trying to help the next generation of teachers get their start without any unnecessary fuss or fancy words or high-end marketing materials.
