Our shop is located on MG Road in Sukhrauli, right near the PNB in the Bhanu Complex. It’s a central spot, which means there is always something going on outside our door. Inside, though, things are a bit different. We work with glass, which means we have to be careful and keep things relatively tidy, even if there are always small shards and offcuts on the floor. Most of our day is spent cutting, shaping, or designing glass for different uses. It’s a bit of a craft, and it takes a steady hand. The light in the shop is important, so we try to keep the front windows clear. Sometimes people walk in off MG Road just to look at what we are making, and we don't mind that at all. We have various types of glass leaning against the walls, and the sound of the glass cutter is something we hear all day long. The Bhanu Complex is a familiar landmark for people around here, so we are easy to find. It’s not a large operation, just a few of us who know how to handle the material without breaking it. We’ve been here for a while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change, but the way we work with glass hasn't changed much. It’s honest work that requires a lot of focus and a bit of a creative eye. We just focus on the glass and the tools.
