Baba Crane

We are set up over in Kherki Daula, right off the NH-8. It’s near Dundahera Village, and if you know where the Haldiram is, we are pretty much in that neighborhood. Being right by the highway means there is never a quiet moment. The sound of trucks and cars on the NH-8 is the background to everything we do here at Baba Crane. Our yard is where we keep the cranes when they aren't out on a project. It’s a dusty place, mostly because of all the construction and traffic around this part of Gurgaon. We aren't much for office life. We spend most of our time out in the yard or traveling to different sites along the highway. The sun beats down pretty hard here, and there isn't much shade unless you’re standing under one of the machines. We keep things very simple. We don't have a fancy website or a lot of brochures. Most of our work comes from people who see our cranes or know us from the local area. Dealing with the traffic to get the equipment out can be a headache, but it’s part of the job. We just focus on keeping the cranes running and making sure the cables and engines are in good shape for the next day's work. The windows of our small office cabin are usually covered in a thin layer of dust, but we don't mind as long as the work keeps coming in.
