Ashok Building Material Supplier

Our place, Ashok Building Material Supplier, is situated in Vill-Kaliyawash. We are tucked away a bit but we are quite near the Delhi Gurgaon Road. You can hear the traffic from the highway all day long, even though the village itself is a bit quieter. We have been working out of this spot for a good while now. It is mostly a yard full of the heavy stuff people need for building houses and shops around this part of the country. The morning starts early here because the trucks like to beat the heavy traffic on the main road. I spend most of my time walking around the piles of gravel and making sure we have enough stock. It is a very physical kind of day. My clothes usually have a layer of dust on them by noon but you get used to it after a few years. The people who come here are usually local contractors or guys from the nearby villages who are doing some construction work. We don't have a big staff or anything fancy. It's just a few of us making sure things get moved from one place to another. The sun can be really tough in the summer months but we just find a bit of shade and keep going. Kaliyawash is a decent place to be based because of the road access. It makes things easier for the suppliers to drop off the big loads of bricks. We just do our work and go home when the sun sets and the yard is quiet.
