Our place is at 28C in the Dhawalgiri Apartments over in Sector 11. It’s a residential complex, so working here feels very different from being in a commercial hub. Ashneer Consultants Private Limited is basically run from this apartment. You have to go through the main gate and sign in with the security guard before you come up. The apartment itself is pretty standard. We’ve set up our desks in what used to be the living area. It’s got decent light coming in through the windows, though the view is just of the next block of flats. We like it because it’s quiet and we don’t get bothered by the noise of the main road. We do a lot of our consulting work over the phone or through email, so having a peaceful environment is important for us. There is a small balcony where we go to get some fresh air, even if the Gurgaon air isn't always that fresh. We have a kitchen where we can make our own lunch, which saves us from having to go out every day. It’s a very simple, no-frills setup. We aren't trying to look like a high-flying firm. We are just a group of professionals doing our jobs from a comfortable spot in Sector 11. Most of the time, it just feels like we are at home, which makes the long hours a bit easier to handle.
