Our place is Shop Number 4, right across from the Idea office on Delhi Road. It’s a simple setup, just a shop-front where we do our management consultancy work. Since we’re on a main road, we see a lot of cars and trucks passing by all day. It’s not the quietest spot, but it’s easy for people to find us. We keep things pretty basic inside. A few tables, some computers, and a lot of folders. We don’t really see the point in having a fancy office if the work is getting done. Most of our day is spent looking over records or answering emails. It’s a small operation, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. There’s no big hierarchy or anything like that. We just focus on what needs to be finished by the end of the week. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just how it is. It’s an honest way to earn a living. We’ve been in this shop for a while now and we know the neighbors. It’s a decent spot for a small business. We just keep our heads down and do the tasks that come our way. The door squeaks a bit when you open it, but we haven't bothered to oil it yet. It’s just how things are here in this part of town. We keep it real and stay busy until the lights go out.
