Aarti'S Creation

The place we work from is 4667 in Sector 23-A. It’s a regular house that we’ve converted into a bit of a workspace for Aarti'S Creation. Because it’s in a residential sector, it’s much quieter than being out on the main roads. We have the front room set up with most of our supplies. There are baskets of beads, thread, and different bits of cloth scattered around on the tables. Sometimes the cat wanders in and sleeps on the piles of fabric, so we have to chase her out before she gets hair on everything. We usually have a window open to let the air in, and you can hear the kids playing in the street or the vegetable sellers calling out their prices. It’s a very normal, local vibe here. We aren't trying to be a big factory or anything like that. It’s just us making things by hand and taking our time to do it right. The kitchen is right next to the work area, so there is usually the smell of something cooking while we are finishing up our orders. We don't have set hours really; we just work until the day’s tasks are finished. It’s nice being in a neighborhood where everyone knows each other. If we run out of something, one of the neighbors usually has what we need, which makes the work day go by much easier for everyone.
