Writer Corporation

We've been over here in Muttrah for a while now. Most people know the area by the busy port, but we are tucked away near the P.O. Box 19 spot. It’s a busy part of Muscat. Every morning starts about the same with the heavy humidity hitting you the second you step out of your car. Writer Corporation handles a lot of different things, mostly stuff involving the Prer & Gamble division, which definitely keeps us on our toes all week. The office isn't anything fancy to look at from the street or inside. We have some basic desks, some old grey filing cabinets, and a coffee machine that sometimes works if you hit it just right. People come and go all day. It gets loud outside with the constant traffic and the sounds of the port. We just focus on getting through the stack of papers sitting on the desk. Sometimes the mail is late or the internet goes slow, but that’s just how it goes here. We don't really do the big fancy meetings or have a corporate lounge. Usually, it's just a quick chat over a desk to figure out what needs doing for the day. It’s a steady kind of life in this part of Oman. The building has some real character, or maybe it's just getting old, but it works for us. We've seen the whole neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Some businesses moved out, others moved in, but we stayed put. It’s just home for the workday.
