We are based out of T-19/6 in DLF Phase III. Welco Garment Machinery Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from this corner for a good while now. Instead of making the clothes themselves, we deal with the machines that other people use to make them. Our space is usually filled with spare parts, heavy metal components, and tools. It is a bit greasy and loud sometimes, but that is the nature of working with machinery. People come to us when their equipment breaks down or they need something new for their factory. We spend most of our hours looking at blueprints or fixing a motor that decided to stop working. It is technical work, but we are just regular people who happen to know a lot about how these machines run. DLF Phase III is a busy area, but our shop feels like a different world once you step inside. There is always a smell of oil and metal in the air. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to answer the phones with a scripted greeting. If the phone rings, one of us just wipes our hands and picks it up. We take things one day at a time, fixing what needs fixing and shipping out parts when they are ordered. It is straightforward work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening.
