Over at T19/6 in DLF Phase III, you’ll find Welco Garment Machinery Private Limited. Being in DLF Phase III means we’re in a pretty active area with lots of offices and people moving around. We deal with the big machines used for making clothes—sewing machines, cutting tables, and that sort of thing. It’s interesting to see how much goes into making a simple shirt. Our space is mostly filled with these heavy machines, so there isn't much room for anything else. We spend a lot of time doing maintenance or showing people how to use a new piece of equipment. The team here knows these machines inside and out. It’s a bit different from the high-tech IT offices around us, as we’re more about grease and gears. We keep a pot of tea going most of the day because someone is always coming in or out. The pace can get a bit hectic when a customer has a machine break down in the middle of a big production run, but we just deal with it as it comes. We aren't really into big marketing pushes. Most people find us because they need their equipment fixed or they’re looking to add a new line to their factory. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We like being part of the garment industry in our own small way.
