Verma Computers

We run Verma Computers out of House No 657 on Street No 10 in Ashok Vihar Phase 1. It’s a residential area, so it’s a bit quieter than being in the main market. We’re right near the Hanuman Mandir, which makes it easy for people to find us when they’re coming by for the first time. The shop is basically a converted room at the front of the house. We have parts scattered around, like motherboards and hard drives, and there’s usually a couple of towers open on the workbench being fixed. It smells a bit like solder and dust in here most of the time. My brother helps me with the repairs when he’s not busy with his own work. We don't have a big sign, just a small one near the gate. Neighbors usually drop off their laptops when they start running slow or if they need some software installed. It’s a comfortable setup because we can just step into the kitchen for a snack or a glass of water. The street outside has kids playing in the evenings, and you can hear the bells from the temple during prayer times. We don't keep strict corporate hours; if someone knocks and we're home, we'll usually take a look at their machine. It’s a very local way of doing things, but it works for us and the people living around Phase 1 of Ashok Vihar.
