We are located over in Sector 5 of Rohini, at A-3/134. This is where we manage a lot of the truck movements and transport jobs. It’s a busy office because there are always drivers calling in or coming by to pick up their paperwork. We have stacks of logbooks and delivery notes on almost every flat surface. The walls have maps of the different routes across the country, though most of us know them by heart now. It can get a bit loud with the phones ringing and the sound of trucks nearby. We spend a lot of time talking about fuel prices, road conditions, and how long it’s going to take to get a load to its destination. The office is a bit old-fashioned, with wooden desks and heavy chairs that have been here for years. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for updates from the warehouses. It’s a straightforward business; we move things from one place to another and try to make sure nothing gets lost or damaged on the way. Sometimes there are delays because of the weather or traffic, and that’s when things get really hectic in here. But mostly, it’s just a regular cycle of loading and unloading. We’ve been in this part of Delhi for a long time, and everyone in the transport circle knows where to find us. We just keep the wheels turning as best as we can every single day. We are here.
