Thomas Cook (I) Ltd

We have been here in 1/1 Sec-2, Rajender Nagar for a while now. It is just an office where we handle travel stuff for Thomas Cook (I) Ltd in Uttar Pradesh. The space isn't huge but it fits our desks and the few chairs for people who come in to ask about tickets or foreign money. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just sit there waiting for the generator to kick in so the computers start working again. It gets pretty hot during the summer months here. Most of the day is just spent looking at screens and talking on the phone to explain where people can go or how the paperwork needs to be done. We keep some files in the cabinets against the back wall, and they are mostly organized by date. It is a quiet enough spot compared to the busier parts of the city. We see a lot of regular faces from the neighborhood stopping by just to check prices or ask for advice on their trips. There is a small tea stall just down the road where we usually get our morning and evening cups. The floor is tiled and we try to keep it clean even though dust comes in from the street quite a bit. It’s just a normal workplace with a few people trying to get things done every day without too much fuss. We don’t have fancy decorations or anything, just the usual calendars and some maps pinned up.
