The Leela Kempinski Gurgaon

This particular office is run by Satinder Singh over at Jalwayu Tower in Sector 56. Specifically, we’re located in Himgiri-814. It’s a residential complex, so it feels very different from a hotel lobby or a corporate office. We deal with a lot of administrative work from this spot. It’s basically just a room with some computers and a lot of folders stacked up. Sector 56 is a bit away from the main highway, so it's a bit of a commute for some of the staff. The elevators in the tower can be really slow during the morning rush. We spend our time checking schedules and making sure the back-end stuff is moving along. It’s not a place where customers usually come to visit. It’s more for the logistics and the boring parts of the business that people don't usually see. We have a few desks squeezed into the space. It gets a bit cramped when everyone is there at once. We usually bring our own lunch or get something quick from the small shops nearby. It’s a very functional space for us. No marble floors or fancy lights here. Just people working on spreadsheets and talking on their mobiles. We’ve been here for a while and the routine is pretty set. It’s a quiet place to get things done without the distractions of a busy environment. We just keep things running.
