The Leela Kempinski, Gurgaon

We are located at U5/43 in Dlf Phase-3, right in the middle of Gurgaon. It’s a busy area and there’s always something going on outside. We spend our time making sure the building is running right and that people coming through are taken care of. It's a lot of work behind the scenes that nobody really sees. We have staff running around all the time, checking rooms or making sure the kitchen has what it needs for the next meal. Gurgaon has grown so much and being in Phase-3 means we see a lot of people coming for work. Our days start early and usually end pretty late. It's not a desk job where you just sit still. We’re always on our feet. Sometimes things break and we have to fix them fast. Other times it’s just about making sure the entrance looks okay for whoever is arriving. We don't talk like those big corporate offices. We’re just a group of people working in a building trying to keep things moving. There’s a lot of coffee involved and a lot of lists of things to do. We’ve been here while all these other buildings went up around us. It’s just how life is in this part of town. We show up, do the work, and hope everything goes smoothly for the guests. It’s practical, everyday work for everyone here at the property.
