The Group

90-B, Civil Line is where you will find us. It’s one of those older parts of Gurgaon that still has a bit of character left. The Group is a small operation, and we like the fact that we aren't stuck in one of those glass boxes in Cyber City. Our office is a bit more traditional, with walls that have seen a lot of seasons. We spend our time managing different projects, and it’s usually a mix of phone calls and sitting around a table trying to figure out the next step. It isn't always smooth sailing; we have our slow days and our days where everything seems to happen at once. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just handle the business that comes our way and try to be fair about it. The street outside is usually lined with cars, and there’s a lot of walking traffic since it’s a central spot. We’ve got a few desks, some old filing cabinets, and a coffee machine that works most of the time. It’s a very human way to work. We know the people who live nearby and the other shop owners on the lane. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. You just walk in and talk to whoever is available. It’s a practical way to run things.
